Ear Plug

How can i get my 6mm ear plug in my ear?
I stretched my ear to 6mm some weeks ago and I bought a plug for it. It's 6mm on the inside but the outside must be atleast 8mm.
I don't mind a bit pain at all. But this thing just will not go in and if I get it in...... How can I get it out?? I don't want to stretch my ear much bigger as I want to let them close in the future can anyone help??
Thanks
Hi,
I have 3 stretches in each ear, 10mm, 6mm and 4, and I just can't wear double flared plugs [which I assume is what you are referring to when you say it's larger on the outside] but here's some things to try:
If you have a set of tapering pins (like hollow needles) you could use an 8mm one to feed the jewellery in.
Try after a bath or shower when your skin is a bit softer
Use something to lubricate it...a natural oil, or some KY jelly, I wouldn't recommend petroleum jelly/vaseline it can make the piercing a bit nasty (or does mine anyway).
Press it in at an angle, so you aren't forcing a blunt edge in.
Edit: about closing the hole later - 8mm is usually considered the point of no return, but everyones body is different, the best way to close them back up is to gradually decrease the size of the jewellery, I wouldn't stretch without being committed to it just in case
